BIOGRAPHY

With “Passage I : Melancholia”, The Great White Nothing tells the story of a man leaving his home and known world behind in search of solace in the most unforgiving of places. This album dives deeply into the stories of 20th century arctic pioneers, exploring their hardships and fervor, challenging any listener to weather the existential dread these adventurers endured.
While firmly rooted in post, black and progressive metal, The Great White Nothing pushes past musical templates in order to do this introspective journey justice. With members from bands such as Black Narcissus, Dark Oath, Mindwar, Soul Grip and Hamelin, TGWN bolsters the experience and passion to carry this album and its story out into the world.
